EWKR Winter Training Course 2025
Course details
England Wado Kai Winter Course 2025 - Sandhurst
4 hours Wado-Kai Training each day and Mon/Kyu/Dan gradings on Sunday.
It is recommended that students who want to grade should attend both days of the course. Students not training on the Saturday and wanting to grade on the Sunday will need to pay an additional separate grading fee of £15.
Please bring your own drinks and packed lunch as food will not be provided.
Four Training Attendance Stamps will be issued for each day attended.
Winter Raffle
The association will be holding a special raffle to raise funds for the EWKR Squad. Please bring along any unwanted items or gifts. If you're not able to attend the winter course, but have something to donate, please hand it to your club Sensei.
IMPORTANT - Ji yu Kumite (Free Fighting) in Gradings
A gum shield and mitts are mandatory minimum equipment requirements for the Ji Yu Kumite section of your grading. If you have a medical condition or a reason that prevents you from using the required protective equipment, please notify the registration desk at the time of grading registration..
This applies to anyone taking a grade for 6th Mon (Green/White-Stripe belt) and above and is effective from October 2025.

Costs
• Full weekend £50 (pre-paid online), inclusive of grading fees. (£60 if booked on the day)
• Single day £25 (pre-paid online). Does not include grading fees. (£30 if booked on the day)
• Grading fee for those only training on a single day is £15.
• Dan Grading Fee £10
