Competition SquadThe Squad is an extension of England Wado-Kai Karate-Do Renmei (EWKR) and is registered with the Federation of Wado-Kai Europe (FWE) as being the official Wado-Kai representative mandate for England. EWKR is a member of FWE, and the Squad represents EWKR in international competitions such as FWE Wadokai Cup, Kayl Cup in Luxembourg, and other high profile competitions. We welcome clubs nationally to come together and train for one purpose – participating, promoting and regulating the Wado-Kai style and to build a better squad to enter competitions nationally and internationally. Once a year our squad competes in the FWE Wadokai Cup, which changes country location each year. The Squad is comprised of athletes selected from a number of clubs throughout England. Our squad is inclusive, diverse and accessible to our fellow Wado practitioners. We are a not-for-profit organisation and any proceeds/funds raised by the Squad go towards the continued development of Wado-Kai karate in England and to the development of it’s squad members. Squad KitThe England Wado-Kai competition squad kit is available to order at each training session. Some items are held in stock and immediately available for purchase. If a size / item is not in stock these will be ordered for you, payment required at time of order. Supporters items are also available to purchase / order. Rules & Registration for becoming a Squad MemberClubs and Individuals are welcome to attend a trial session, however Squad training is for members only.
